The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released updates on the JOSAA 2022 counselling process, covering online registration, the counselling schedule, seat allotment result and related steps for admission to participating engineering institutes. The process follows the release of the JEE Advanced result on 11 September 2022.

Counselling registration for JOSAA opened on 12 September 2022, marking the start of the seat allocation process that candidates who qualified in JEE Advanced can take part in.

Candidates should track the JOSAA schedule closely from registration through to the allotment result, since these counselling rounds tend to move quickly once they begin.

  2. 2Have your roll number or registration number and date of birth ready, since most result portals ask for both to pull up your scorecard.
  3. 3Once your result loads, download it and save a copy, since official portals often take these pages down after a few weeks, sometimes without much notice.
