The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has invited online applications for Constable recruitment 2023, with 7598 total posts on offer, including 4919 posts under the regular process alongside backlog vacancies. Applications opened on 22 January 2024 and closed on 21 February 2024, with the fee payment deadline set for 23 February 2024.
Candidates needed to upload their photo and signature by 25 February 2024, with a correction window open from 26 to 28 February 2024 for form edits. The Physical Efficiency Test date is to be announced as per schedule, and the admit card will be released before the exam. The fee is 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 50 rupees for SC and ST candidates, payable through debit card, credit card or net banking. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board, be between 18 and 25 years of age, and meet physical standards of 160 cm height for men and 148 cm for women, with a running test of 10 km in 60 minutes for men and 5 km in 30 minutes for women. Vacancies are spread across districts including Giridih with 452, Devghar with 343, Dhanbad with 337 and several others.
