The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the answer key for the re-exam of its Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam (JGGLCCE) 2023, a recruitment drive covering 2017 posts including Assistant Branch Officer, Junior Secretarial Assistant, Labor Enforcement Officer, Planning Assistant, Block Welfare Officer, Block Supply Officer and Circle Officer. The Assistant Branch Officer post alone carries 863 vacancies, with 347 for UR and 87 for EWS within that post.
Applications had opened on 20 June 2023 and closed on 3 August 2023, with the fee payment deadline set for 5 August 2023 and photo or signature upload allowed till 7 August 2023. Correction in the application was permitted between 8 and 9 August 2023. The re-exam was conducted on 21-22 September 2024, with the admit card issued before the exam, and the answer key has now been released on 26 September 2024. The exam fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 50 rupees for SC and ST candidates, payable through debit card, credit card or net banking. Candidates needed to be between 21 and 35 years of age, and other state candidates were also eligible to apply for the Assistant Branch Officer post.
