The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has released the answer key for the Jharkhand Matric Level Combined Competitive Examination, JMLCCE 2023, which was held for 455 posts. Of these, 268 posts fall under the Insect Rearing and Allied Industries Department, for which candidates needed a Class 10 pass along with a one year certificate in sericulture or silk, or a 10+2 professional course in sericulture or textile. The remaining 187 posts are for Skilled Craftsmen and equivalent posts under the Industries Department, open to Class 10 pass candidates with a one year certificate course in handicraft and two years of experience.
Applications for this exam had opened on 4 July 2023 and closed on 3 August 2023, with the fee payable up to 5 August 2023 and photo or signature uploads accepted till 7 August 2023. A correction window ran from 9 to 11 August 2023. The exam itself took place on 29 September 2024, with the admit card issued a few days earlier on 26 September 2024, and the answer key has now come out on 10 February 2025. The fee was 100 rupees for general, OBC and EWS candidates and 50 rupees for SC and ST candidates, and applicants had to be between 18 and 35 years old.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can go through the answer key against their attempted responses and estimate their likely score, keeping the eligibility conditions for their respective post in mind while doing so.
