The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has declared the result for the Laboratory Assistant Competitive Examination, known as JLACE 2023, conducted for 690 posts, of which the notified vacancy for Lab Assistant Physics stands at 230. Eligible candidates needed a bachelor degree covering physics, chemistry and biology as two of their subjects with a minimum of 50 percent marks, relaxed to 45 percent for SC, ST and PH candidates, and the post was also open to candidates from other states.
Online applications had run from 5 April to 4 May 2023, with the fee payment deadline on 6 May 2023 and the photo and signature upload deadline on 8 May 2023, followed by a correction window from 10 to 12 May 2023. The exam was conducted in July or August 2023, with the admit card released before the exam, and the result declared on 22 December 2023. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 50 rupees for SC and ST candidates. The minimum age was 21 years and the maximum age was 35 years.
