Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the additional result for the Post Graduate Teacher recruitment, PGTTCE 2023, a process covering 3120 posts, with the Regular PGT Teacher category alone accounting for 2855 of those posts. The post requires a Master's degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed qualification, and candidates from other states are also eligible.
Applications were accepted from 5 April 2023 to 4 May 2023, with the exam fee payable by 6 May 2023 and photo or signature uploads due by 8 May 2023, followed by a correction window from 10 to 12 May 2023. The exam was conducted between 18 August and 10 September 2023, with the admit card released before the exam and the response sheet made available on 5 December 2023. The result came out on 20 June 2024, and the additional result has now been released on 5 March 2025. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 50 rupees for SC and ST candidates, and the age limit was 21 to 40 years.
Within the 2855 Regular PGT posts, subjects such as Physics carried 251 posts, Chemistry 227, Biology 218 and English 211, with a further 718 posts under the reserve list across these subjects. Candidates who applied can now check the additional result released by JSSC.
