The Jute Corporation of India Limited has released the admit card for its 2024 recruitment drive covering Junior Inspector, Junior Assistant and Accountant posts, a total of 90 vacancies. Applications had been invited online from 10 September 2024 and closed on 30 September 2024, with the exam fee also due by the same date.
Of the 90 posts, Junior Inspector accounts for 42 vacancies and requires a 10+2 pass along with three years of experience, Junior Assistant accounts for 25 vacancies and asks for a bachelor's degree with a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English, and Accountant accounts for 23 vacancies, open to M.Com holders with advanced accountancy and auditing and five years of experience, or B.Com holders with seven years of experience. Across these posts the category split works out to 17 UR, 10 OBC, 4 EWS, 7 SC and 4 ST for Junior Inspector, 11 UR, 6 OBC, 2 EWS, 4 SC and 2 ST for Junior Assistant, and 10 UR, 5 OBC, 2 EWS, 4 SC and 2 ST for Accountant. The fee was 250 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and free for SC, ST and PH candidates, payable only through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI, and the upper age limit was capped at 30 years.
The exam was eventually held on 25 May 2025, with the exam city intimation released on 8 May and the admit card made available on 19 May 2025. Candidates should download the admit card from the official website and carry it to the exam centre along with the required identification.
