The Ministry of Home Affairs, through the Intelligence Bureau, is set to invite applications for Security Assistant, Executive and Multi Tasking Staff posts, with a combined vacancy count of 1671. The recruitment covers the Security Assistant or Executive category with 1521 posts and the Multi Tasking Staff category with 150 posts, and the process has been noted as postponed.
As of now the application start date, closing date and fee payment deadline are all listed as due soon, with the exam date to follow as per schedule and the admit card coming out before the exam. The fee is 450 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and 50 rupees for SC, ST and all female candidates, payable through debit card, credit card or net banking. Minimum age is 18 years, up to 25 for MTS and 27 for Security Assistant or Executive.
Of the 1521 Security Assistant or Executive posts, the category split is 755 UR, 271 OBC, 240 SC, 152 EWS and 103 ST. Of the 150 MTS posts, the split is 68 UR, 35 OBC, 16 SC, 16 ST and 15 EWS. Eligibility for Security Assistant or Executive requires a class 10th pass along with domicile of the applied zone and local language knowledge, so candidates should confirm zone rules once dates are out.
