The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board is conducting recruitment for Van Rakshak, Kshetra Rakshak, Jail Prahari and Jail Superintendent posts in the state's Forest and Jail departments, with 1679 vacancies in all. The result has not been declared yet; the board currently lists the status as notified soon.
Applications opened on 28 February 2026 and closed on 30 April 2026, also the last date for fee payment and corrections. The exam began on 4 June 2026, after the admit card was released on 27 May, and the answer key followed on 22 June. The fee was 560 rupees for General and other-state candidates and 310 rupees for OBC, SC and ST candidates, plus a portal charge of 60 rupees. The minimum age is 18 years for most posts and 21 for Jail Superintendent, and the maximum age is 33 years.
Of the 1679 posts, 728 are for Vanrakshak, 169 for Kshetra Rakshak, 757 for Jail Prahari and 25 for Jail Superintendent. Vanrakshak, Kshetra Rakshak and Jail Prahari require a Class 10th pass and a specified height, and Jail Prahari candidates also had to clear a physical test with a race and shot put. Jail Superintendent requires a bachelor's degree and a height standard. Candidates who appeared should keep checking the MPESB website, since the result is expected soon.
