The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has declared the Pre result for the State Service Examination (SSE) 2026, conducted for recruitment to 155 posts. The result covers candidates who appeared for the preliminary stage of this year's state services exam.

The application process for this recruitment had opened on 10 January 2026 and closed on 9 February 2026, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee, with a form correction window open till 11 February 2026. Late applications were accepted with an additional fee, first till 16 February 2026 and again till 1 April 2026. The exam was conducted on 26 April 2026, after the admit card was released on 16 April 2026, and the answer key followed on 28 April 2026, ahead of the Pre result on 22 May 2026. The fee stood at 540 rupees for General and other state candidates, and 290 rupees for OBC, EWS, SC and ST candidates, with a correction charge of 50 rupees. Candidates had to be between 21 and 33 to 40 years old depending on the post.

The 155 posts fall under the State Service Examination and cover roles such as State Administrative Service, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Commercial Tax Officer, District Registrar, Block Development Officer, Naib Tehsildar, Excise Sub-Inspector and Sub-Registrar, among other administrative posts. Candidates cleared in the Pre exam can now proceed to the next stage of the selection process.
