The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS, has invited online applications for 48 posts covering Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Junior Programmer, Law Officer and Deputy Director Medical.
Applications began on 30 September 2023 and close on 20 October 2023, with the exam fee also due by that date. The fee is 1500 rupees plus 18 percent GST for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH and female candidates are exempted, payable through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum ranges from 27 to 35 years depending on the post, for instance Junior Assistant and Junior Programmer are capped at 27 years while Law Officer and Deputy Director Medical go up to 35 years. Junior Assistant has the largest share with 24 posts, followed by Stenographer at 7 and Deputy Director Medical at 7.
Candidates should check the post wise eligibility carefully, since qualifications range from a 10+2 pass for Junior Assistant to a law degree with bar practice for Law Officer and a master's medical qualification for Deputy Director Medical, before the 20 October deadline.
