The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the admit card for its recruitment covering 86 posts across Director, Academic Officer, EDP Supervisor and Junior Assistant roles.

Applications had opened on 17 April 2019 and closed on 17 May 2019, with the fee payment deadline the same day, payable through online or offline mode. The fee varied by post group, running from 750 rupees for General or OBC candidates on Group A posts down to 150 rupees for SC or ST candidates on Group C posts, with a separate provision for PH candidates above 40 percent disability on Group C posts. After a long gap, the exam has now been scheduled for 5 November 2022, with the admit card released on 28 October 2022.

Of the 86 posts, 37 each are for EDP Supervisor and Junior Assistant, 11 for Academic Officer, and 1 for Director, each carrying a distinct qualification requirement ranging from a postgraduate degree with a decade of experience for Director down to a 10+2 pass with a typing speed requirement for Junior Assistant. Candidates should download their admit card and confirm their exam centre ahead of the 5 November exam.
