The National Testing Agency has declared the result along with score card for the CSIR UGC NET / JRF examination held in December 2023. This joint test is used both for Junior Research Fellowship eligibility and for Lectureship or Assistant Professor eligibility, and the result covers candidates who appeared across its cycle.
Applications had opened on 1 November 2023 and closed on 4 December 2023 up to 5 PM, with a correction window from 6 to 8 December. The exam was conducted between 26 and 28 December 2023, the admit card was issued before the exam, the answer key followed on 6 January 2024, and the result has now been declared on 4 February 2024. The application fee was 1100 rupees for General candidates, 550 rupees for OBC and EWS candidates, 275 rupees for SC and ST candidates, and nil for PwD candidates, payable through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The age limit was capped at 28 years for JRF, while there was no upper age limit for those applying only for Lectureship or Assistant Professor eligibility.
Candidates can now download their score card and check their qualifying status for JRF or Lectureship as applicable.
