The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer key for the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination, conducted for Junior Research Fellowship and for Lectureship, Assistant Professor eligibility.

The online application process opened on 27 May 2026 and closed on 19 June 2026, with the exam fee payable up to 20 June 2026 and a correction window on 22 and 23 June 2026. The fee was 1150 rupees for General candidates, 600 rupees for EWS and OBC candidates, and 325 rupees for ST, SC and PH candidates, payable through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The upper age limit is 30 years for candidates applying for JRF, while there is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureship or Assistant Professor eligibility. The exam was held on 17 and 18 July 2026, after exam city details were announced on 8 July 2026 and the admit card was released on 13 July 2026. The answer key followed on 16 August 2026, and the result is expected to be declared soon.
