The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer key for the Central University Recruitment Exam, known as IGNOU CUREC 2023, covering various Group A, B and C posts across participating universities. The exercise spans 309 posts in total, including teaching and non-teaching positions.
Applications opened on 1 December 2023, while the last date to apply and the fee payment deadline were both university-wise rather than fixed for all applicants. The correction window and exam date were likewise set as per each university's own schedule, and admit cards were made available before the respective exams. The fee structure varied by post group: Group A posts required 1500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 1000 rupees for SC and ST candidates, Group B and C posts required 1000 and 600 rupees respectively for the same category split, and University of Allahabad posts carried a separate fee of 2000 rupees for General, OBC and EWS and 1000 rupees for SC and ST. Age limits were also post-wise. The vacancies included over 100 posts for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor, 102 posts of Stenographer or Junior Assistant, and further Group A, B and C posts numbering 42, 33 and 32.
