The National Testing Agency has declared the result for JEE Main Session 2, part of the Joint Entrance Examination for admission to engineering and architecture programmes across the country. Applications for Session 2 had opened on 1 June 2022 and closed on 9 July 2022 at 9 PM, with a correction window from 1 to 3 July 2022.
The exam started from 25 July 2022, after the admit card was released on 21 July 2022. The answer key followed on 4 August 2022, and the result was declared on 8 August 2022. The application fee for Paper 1 alone was 650 rupees for General, OBC and EWS male candidates and 325 rupees for female candidates in the same categories, while SC and ST candidates paid 325 rupees regardless of gender. For those who appeared for both papers, the fee was 1300 rupees for General, OBC and EWS male candidates, dropping to 650 rupees for women and for SC, ST candidates.
Candidates can check their JEE Main Session 2 result and scorecard on the NTA website using their application number and date of birth. Those planning to apply for counselling should keep the scorecard ready along with the other documents needed for the admission process ahead.
