The National Testing Agency has declared the result for UGC NET and JRF December 2024, along with the scorecard, and candidates can now download their e certificate ahead of the January 2025 exam cycle. This result closes out the December session for candidates who appeared in the test.
Applications for this cycle opened on 19 November 2024 and closed on 11 December 2024, with the fee payment deadline set for 12 December 2024. A correction window was open on 13 and 14 December 2024 for candidates to amend their forms. The UGC NET exam itself was conducted between 3 and 27 January 2025, with exam city details released on 24 December 2024 and the admit card issued before the exam. The answer key came out on 30 January 2025, the result was declared on 22 February 2025, and the e certificate became available on 29 March 2025. The application fee was 1150 rupees for General category candidates, 600 rupees for EWS and OBC candidates, and 325 rupees for SC, ST and PH candidates, paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or e challan.
