North Western Railway has invited online applications for Act Apprentices across various trades under RRC Jaipur, with 1646 posts on offer. The vacancies are distributed among several divisions and units, including the Divisional Railway Manager offices at Ajmer, Bikaner and Jaipur, along with the Carriage Works Shop at Bikaner, among others. Eligible candidates need Class 10 or matriculation along with an ITI certificate in the related trade, with trade wise eligibility given in the notification.
Online applications opened on 10 January 2024 and the last date to apply and pay the fee is 10 February 2024. The fee is 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and all category female candidates are exempted, payable through debit card, credit card or net banking only. The minimum age is 15 years and the maximum age is 24 years.
Since this is an apprenticeship spread across multiple divisions with more than 1600 posts, candidates should check the division wise seat count and trade wise eligibility in the notification before applying, and complete the process within the 10 February window.
