The Patna High Court has declared the final result for its Assistant recruitment covering 550 posts under the Assistant Group B category. Applications had opened on 6 February 2023 and closed on 7 March 2023, with the exam fee payable by 9 March 2023.
The process went through more than one stage. An admit card was released on 21 April 2023 ahead of the exam on 30 April 2023, and a result followed on 25 July 2023. A written exam was then held on 13 August 2023, with its own admit card issued on 4 August 2023 and its result declared on 20 December 2023. Interview letters were issued on 29 January 2024, and the final result was declared on 14 March 2024. The application fee was 1,200 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 600 rupees for SC and ST candidates, payable through debit card, credit card or net banking. The age limit ran from a minimum of 18 years up to 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates, and eligibility called for a bachelor's degree in any stream along with a computer application diploma or certificate of at least 6 months. Within the 550 posts, the breakdown includes 238 for UR, 99 for EBC, 88 for SC, 66 for BC, 54 for EWS and 5 for ST.
