Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has invited online applications for Field Engineer and Field Supervisor posts, opening 800 vacancies across Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Information Technology streams.
Applications open on 21 November 2022 and close on 11 December 2022, with the exam fee also payable by the same date. The exam date will be announced as per schedule, and the admit card will be released before the exam. The fee is 400 rupees for Field Engineer applicants and 300 rupees for Field Supervisor applicants, while SC, ST and PH candidates are exempted. The maximum age limit is 29 years. Among the posts, Field Supervisor Electrical carries the largest share with 480 vacancies, followed by Field Supervisor Electronics & Communication with 240, Field Engineer Electrical with 50, and Field Engineer Electronics & Communication and Information Technology with 15 each. Field Engineer posts require a BSc Engineering, BE or BTech degree in the relevant trade with at least 55% marks and one year of experience.
Candidates from the electrical, electronics and IT streams should apply online before 11 December 2022 and refer to the official notification for trade-wise eligibility, since requirements differ between the Engineer and Supervisor grades.
