Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has released the admit card for its 2024 trainee recruitment, which covers 802 posts across Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee roles.
Online applications had opened on 22 October 2024 and closed on 19 November 2024, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee. The exam is scheduled for January or February 2025, and the admit card is available before the exam. The fee is 300 rupees for Diploma Trainee candidates in the General, OBC and EWS categories and free for SC, ST and Ex-servicemen candidates, while it is 200 rupees for Assistant Trainee candidates in General, OBC and EWS and free for SC, ST and Ex-servicemen. The maximum age limit is 27 years.
The posts on offer include Diploma Trainee (Electrical), requiring a diploma in electrical or power engineering with at least 70 percent marks, Diploma Trainee (Civil) with the same marks requirement in civil engineering, Junior Officer Trainee (HR) for candidates with a BBA, BBM or BBSc with 60 percent marks, Junior Officer Trainee (F&A) for those who have cleared Inter CA or Inter CMA, and Assistant Trainee (F&A) for B.Com graduates with 60 percent marks. SC and ST candidates only need to qualify, without the marks criteria applying to them. Candidates should download the admit card and carry it to the exam.
