Perambur Loco Works, Southern Railway (PLW) at Patiala has invited applications for its Various Trade Apprentices scheme, with 295 posts open across trades. Applicants need to have passed Class 10 with an ITI or NCVT certificate in the related trade, and the trade wise breakup includes Electrician, Machinist, Fitter and Welder G&E among others, with Electrician carrying the largest share at 140 posts.
Online applications began on 9 October 2023 and close on 31 October 2023 up to 5 PM, and the exam fee must be paid by the same date. The fee is 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH and all female candidates are exempted. Age limits are set between 15 and 24 years. Payment can only be made through debit card, credit card or net banking.
