The Railway Recruitment Cell of West Central Railway has invited online applications for various trade Apprentice posts, with a large 3317 vacancies on offer. The application window opened on 5 August 2024 and closes on 4 September 2024, which is also the last date to pay the examination fee.
Candidates need to have passed Class 10 or matriculation with 50 percent marks along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, with trade wise eligibility spelled out in the notification. The age limit is between 15 and 24 years. The fee is 141 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and 41 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates, payable through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The vacancies are distributed across divisions, with the Jabalpur division carrying the largest share at 1262 posts, followed by Kota division with 832 and other units such as WRS Kota and BPL divisions accounting for the rest.
