The Reserve Bank of India has declared the result for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023, a central-level exercise for 450 posts. The result covers both the Preliminary and Phase II Mains stages, and candidates can check their marks and cutoff for each stage on the official RBI site.
Applications opened on 13 September 2023 and closed on 4 October 2023, with the fee payable by debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan. The Preliminary exam was held on 18 and 19 November 2023, with the admit card out on 7 November and the Pre result declared on 15 December 2023. The Mains exam followed on 31 December 2023, Pre marks were released on 31 January 2024, and the Mains result came out on 6 March 2024, with Mains marks available from 16 April 2024. The fee was 450 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 50 rupees for SC and ST, with an age limit of 20 to 28 years. Vacancies were spread across regional offices with local language requirements, including Mumbai with 101 posts, Bengaluru with 58, Kanpur and Lucknow together with 55, and other centres such as Chandigarh, Kolkata, Guwahati and Bhubaneswar carrying smaller shares split across General, EWS, OBC, SC and ST categories.
Candidates should match their result against the centre-wise category breakup relevant to the office they applied for, since cutoffs differed by region and language zone.
