The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications for Assistant Professor posts, with 575 vacancies spread across a wide range of subjects.
Online applications opened on 12 January 2025 and close on 10 February 2025, with the exam fee due the same day; the exam itself will be held as per schedule and the admit card will be issued before it. The fee is 600 rupees for general and other state candidates, 400 rupees for OBC, BC, SC and ST candidates, and any correction to the submitted form costs an additional 500 rupees; payment can be made in cash at Rajasthan's e-Mitra portal or online. Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years old.
Applicants need a master's degree with at least 55 percent marks in the relevant subject, along with NET, SLET, SET or a PhD. The 575 posts are spread unevenly across subjects, Geography accounts for 60, Hindi for 58, Political Science for 52, History for 31 and Economics for 23, with smaller numbers in subjects such as English, Home Science, Public Administration, Philosophy, Psychology, Music and Fine Arts. Candidates should check the subject wise vacancy count for their own subject before applying.
