Rajasthan Public Service Commission has invited applications for the Senior Teacher Grade II TGT Teacher Recruitment 2024, with 2129 vacancies on offer across the state. The posts are open to candidates holding a bachelor degree in the relevant optional subject along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Online applications opened on 26 December 2024 and the window closes on 24 January 2025, which is also the last date to pay the exam fee. The exam date will be announced later, and the admit card will be issued before the exam. The application fee is 600 rupees for general and other state candidates, and 400 rupees for OBC, BC, SC and ST candidates, with a correction charge of 500 rupees. Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age, and fees can be paid in cash at a Rajasthan e-Mitra kiosk or online through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Of the total vacancies, 1727 posts fall under the Non-TSP area, spread across subjects such as Mathematics with 539 posts, Sanskrit with 276, Hindi with 273, English with 242, Science with 261, Social Science with 70, Punjabi with 64 and Urdu with just 2, alongside a smaller number of posts reserved for the TSP area in each subject.
