The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has declared the result for its Sub Inspector and Subedar recruitment, a large exercise that covered 1015 posts under the state police and allied services. This is one of the bigger uniformed-services drives the commission has run recently, spanning several post categories within the same selection process.
Applications for this recruitment were open from 10 August 2025 to 8 September 2025, which was also the last date to pay the exam fee. The exam city details came out on 25 March 2026, the admit card followed on 2 April 2026, and the written exam was conducted over 5 and 6 April 2026. The answer key was released on 7 April 2026, and the result was declared on 19 June 2026, with marks made available a few days later on 23 June 2026. The fee stood at 600 rupees for General and Other State candidates and 400 rupees for OBC, BC, SC and ST candidates, and the age limit for applicants was between 20 and 25 years.
Among the 1015 posts, 896 were for Sub Inspector (AP), 25 for Sub Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area, 4 for Sub Inspector (AP) Sahariya, 26 for Sub Inspector (IB) and 64 for Platoon Commander (RAC). The posts required a bachelor's degree along with working knowledge of Hindi and familiarity with Rajasthani culture, and candidates in their final year were also permitted to apply.
