The Railway Recruitment Board has released the Stage II answer key for the Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment under CEN 01/2024, which covers 18799 vacancies across RRB zones. Online applications had been accepted from 20 January to 19 February 2024, and eligibility runs across candidates with a 10th pass plus ITI in trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic and several others, or a diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering.
The recruitment moved through a long calendar of stages: a correction window from 20 to 29 February 2024, Stage I CBT held from 25 to 29 November 2024 with its answer key out on 5 December 2024, and Stage II CBT conducted on 19 and 20 March 2025, later rescheduled for a set of candidates to 2 to 6 May 2025. The Stage II answer key itself was released on 8 May 2025. The application fee was 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 250 rupees for EBC candidates and for women of all categories, with a partial refund of 400 or 250 rupees issued after appearing in Stage I depending on category. The age limit for the post is 18 to 33 years, and vacancies are spread across RRB zones, with Bilaspur SECR carrying the largest share at 3973 posts.
Candidates can check the Stage II answer key on the official RRB website against their response sheet and raise objections within the window given in the notice, before the board moves on to the next stage of the selection process.
