The Railway Recruitment Board has released the CBT II answer key for the Assistant Loco Pilot, ALP, recruitment under CEN 01/2025. The drive covers 10,970 vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot posts across the various railway zones.
Online applications for this recruitment were accepted from 12 April 2025 to 19 May 2025, with the fee payment deadline on 21 May 2025 and a correction window from 22 to 31 May 2025. The CBT I exam was held from 13 to 18 February 2026, and its result was declared on 12 June 2026. The CBT II exam followed on 28 July 2026, with the admit card issued on 24 July 2026, and the CBT II answer key released on 5 August 2026. The fee was 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and 250 rupees for SC, ST, PH candidates and for women candidates across categories, with a partial refund after appearing for the Stage I exam. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 30 years.
Eligibility is based on a Class 10th pass along with an ITI certificate in trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic or Motor Vehicle Mechanic, or alternatively a diploma or a BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering. Vacancies are spread across RRB zones such as Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Secunderabad and Ranchi among others, with category-wise numbers varying from zone to zone. Candidates should check their answer key and vacancy details against the official RRB CEN 01/2025 notification.
