The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Stage II answer key for the Junior Engineer recruitment under CEN 03/2024, a drive covering 7951 posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant across RRB zones nationwide. Applications for this cycle were accepted from 30 July 2024 to 29 August 2024.
The Stage I exam ran from 16 to 18 December 2024 and its answer key came out on 23 December 2024. Stage II was held on 22 April 2025, with its answer key published two days later. A second shift for Stage II, announced after a cancellation notice on 26 April 2025, was conducted on 4 June 2025, and the answer key for that shift followed on 8 June 2025. The fee was 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 250 rupees for SC, ST, PH and all women candidates, part of which is refundable after appearing in Stage I. Age for the post ranged from 18 to 36 years, with a degree or diploma in engineering from a recognised institute as the base qualification. RRB Mumbai carries the largest share of posts at 1377, followed by RRB Kolkata at 660 and RRB Chennai at 652.
Candidates who appeared in either shift of Stage II can now check their responses against the released key and match the post-wise eligibility and zone-wise vacancy numbers given in the official notification.
