The Railway Recruitment Board has released the CBT II answer key for the Junior Engineer recruitment under CEN 05/2025, which covers 2569 vacancies across the country. This follows the CBT I result that was already declared, and it lets candidates who appeared in the second stage exam check their responses before the final result is prepared.
Candidates had applied online between 31 October and 10 December 2025, with a form correction window open from 13 to 22 December 2025. The CBT I exam was conducted over 19, 20 and 25 February 2026, with its answer key released on 5 March 2026 and result declared on 13 May 2026. The CBT II exam followed on 2 July 2026, and its answer key is now out as of 10 July 2026. The application fee was 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 250 rupees for SC, ST, PH and women candidates, part of which is refundable after appearing in the Stage I exam. Age for applicants was set between 18 and 33 years. Among the 2569 posts, General carries 1090, OBC 615, SC 410, EWS 244 and ST 210.
