The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the document verification admit card for Technician Grade I and Grade III recruitment under CEN 02/2024, which covers 14,298 posts in total. Shortlisted candidates can now download their DV call letter ahead of the verification round.
The Grade I Signal DV letter is available from 26 March 2025 and the Grade III DV letter from 1 April 2025. Earlier in the process, applications had opened on 9 March 2024 and closed on 8 April 2024, with a correction window from 9 to 18 April 2024, the vacancy count was revised on 22 August 2024, and applications reopened from 2 to 16 October 2024. The CBT exam ran from 19 to 29 December 2024, followed by the Grade I answer key on 26 December 2024 and the Grade III answer key on 6 January 2025. The exam fee was 500 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 250 rupees for SC, ST, PH and female candidates, refundable after appearing for the exam. The age limit is 18 to 33 years for Grade III and up to 36 years for Grade I Signal.
Of the total posts, 1,092 are for Technician Grade I Signal, open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in physics, electronics, computer science or a related engineering stream, and 8,052 are for Technician Grade III Open Line, open to Class 10th pass candidates with an ITI certificate in a related trade. A detailed zone-wise and category-wise vacancy breakup across RRB zones such as Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bangalore and Bhopal is also given in the notification. Candidates should carry their DV letter along with original documents on the day of verification.
