North Eastern Railway has invited online applications for apprentices under RRC Gorakhpur, against a total of 1104 posts across various trades. This is a large recruitment drive spread across several workshops and units under the zone.
Applications opened on 3 July 2023 and will close on 2 August 2023 up to 5 PM, which is also the last date to complete the form. The fee is 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates are exempt from payment, which can be made through debit card, credit card or net banking only. Age for this recruitment is set between 15 and 24 years. Eligible candidates need to have passed Class 10 along with an ITI or NCVT certificate in the relevant trade. The posts are spread across units including the Mechanical Workshop at Gorakhpur with 411 vacancies, Signal Workshop Gorakhpur Cantt with 63, Diesel Shed Izzatnagar with 60, Carriage and Wagon Lucknow Junction with 155, and Carriage and Wagon Varanasi with 75.
