The State Bank of India has invited online applications for recruitment of Junior Associates Clerk against 1538 backlog posts for 2026.
The application process began on 7 August 2026 and closes on 27 August 2026, which is also the last date to pay the exam fee online through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. The Phase I preliminary exam is scheduled for September 2026, followed by the Phase II main exam in October or November 2026, with the admit card for each phase released before the respective exam. The fee is 750 rupees for OBC candidates, while SC, ST and PH candidates are not required to pay any fee. Candidates need to be between 20 and 28 years of age, and should have passed or be appearing for a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.
These backlog vacancies are distributed across categories, with 1219 posts for ST candidates, 207 for SC, 112 for OBC, and none currently listed under UR or EWS. Candidates fitting the eligibility criteria can complete their application before the closing date.
