The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has declared the exam result for its 2023 recruitment drive covering Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Sub Inspector and Sub Inspector posts across trades such as driver, veterinary, mechanic, communication, steward, pharmacist, radiographer, steno, pioneer, draughtsman and staff nurse, for a total of 1638 vacancies.
Online applications were accepted from 20 May 2023 to 18 June 2023, with the fee also due by the closing date, paid through debit card, credit card or net banking. The fee was 100 or 200 rupees depending on the post for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and women of all categories did not have to pay. The selection process ran across several stages: the Constable Tradesman exam was held on 13 July 2023, PET and PST on 29 September 2023, and CBT exams for various ASI, Head Constable and Sub Inspector posts between 26 December 2023 and 22 January 2024. The admit card was released on 20 December 2023.
Results were declared in stages, with the SI and HC result out on 15 March 2024, the ASI and HC result on 23 March 2024, and the Constable and HC result on 25 November 2024. The age limit varied by post, generally between 18 and 30 years. Candidates can check their result post-wise as released by SSB.
