Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has reopened the answer key for the Head Constable (Ministerial) 2020 recruitment CBT exam, for the 115 posts advertised under this cycle.
The application process for this recruitment had opened on 24 July 2021 and closed on 22 August 2021, with the exam fee also payable up to the same date through debit card, credit card or net banking. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and women candidates in all categories were exempted. The age limit for the post was 18 to 25 years. Candidates needed to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board, along with a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. The CBT exam was held on 7 July 2026, the admit card for it was released on 3 July 2026, and the answer key was first put out on 9 July 2026 before being reopened on 14 July 2026.
Candidates who appeared for the CBT can now use this reopened window to check the answer key against their responses and raise objections if the notification allows for it, referring to the official SSB notice for the exact process.
