The Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024, its flagship recruitment for Group B and Group C posts across central government departments, covering 17727 vacancies. The recruitment spans roles such as Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Grade II, Research Assistant in the National Human Rights Commission, Assistant Section Officer, Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector under CBIC, Sub Inspector in CBI and NIA, Auditor, Accountant, Postal Assistant, Senior Secretariat Assistant and Tax Assistant, placed across departments including the Central Secretariat Service, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railways, CBDT, CBIC and the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Applications were accepted from 24 June 2024 to 27 July 2024, with fee payment open until 28 July and a correction window on 10 and 11 August. Tier I was held from 9 to 26 September 2024, its answer key came on 3 October, and its result followed on 5 December with marks on 16 December. Tier II was conducted from 18 to 20 January 2025, admit cards were issued on 14 January, and the Tier II answer key was released on 21 January. The post-preference option form opened on 22 February 2025, and the final result was declared on 13 March 2025.

The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, with SC, ST, PH candidates and all female candidates exempted, and correction charges of 200 rupees the first time and 500 rupees the second. The minimum age was 18 years, with the maximum ranging from 27 to 32 years depending on the post. Candidates can check their post-wise and category-wise final result along with the cutoff released alongside it.
