The Staff Selection Commission has released the final result along with detailed marks for the Head Constable Ministerial recruitment in Delhi Police, an exercise that was carried out against 835 posts, of which 559 were for the Head Constable Ministerial post itself. The selection process ran over nearly two years, moving through a computer based test, physical tests, a typing test and a final merit list.
Applications opened on 17 May 2022 and closed on 16 June 2022, with a correction window from 21 to 25 June. The CBT was conducted between 10 and 20 October 2022, the answer key came on 2 November, and the first result followed on 28 December 2022. Marks were released between 10 and 24 January 2023, PET and PST ran from 14 to 23 March 2023, and the CFT was held from 4 to 6 December 2022. The typing test took place from 17 to 19 October 2023, its result came on 28 November, and the final result was declared on 27 December 2023, with detailed marks now out on 7 February 2024. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS, and nil for SC, ST and female candidates, with age running from 18 to 25 years. Eligibility required a 10+2 pass along with a typing speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi.
