The Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for Head Constable Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO) and Tele Printer Operator (TPO) posts with Delhi Police, offering 857 vacancies under this 2022 recruitment drive, which has now reached its Detailed Medical Examination stage.
Applications opened on 8 July 2022 and closed on 29 July 2022, with the fee payable up to 30 July 2022. The computer based exam was held on 27 and 28 October 2022, the answer key came out on 9 November 2022, and the result followed on 30 December 2022. The final result was declared on 21 December 2023, and a Detailed Medical Examination schedule was made available on 23 March 2026. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, with SC, ST and all female candidates exempted. Age was fixed between 18 and 27 years, that is, candidates born between 2 July 1995 and 1 July 2004. Of the 857 posts, 573 are for the AWO/TPO post itself, open to candidates with 10+2 in Science or Mathematics, or an NTC certificate in the relevant trade, along with an English typing speed of 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
