Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the final result for the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Exam 2023, covering 307 vacancies for Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator posts across CSOLS, Railways, the Armed Forces and various subordinate offices. Applications had run from 22 August 2023 to 12 September 2023 (up to 11 PM), with a correction window on 13 and 14 September 2023.
Paper I was held on 16 October 2023, with its answer key out on 18 October 2023 and its result on 23 October 2023; marks for Paper I were released on 12 December 2023. Paper II followed on 31 December 2023, and the final result has now been declared on 1 March 2024, with marks made available between 6 and 24 June 2024. The application fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, with no fee for SC, ST, PH candidates and female candidates. The age limit was 18 to 30 years.
Eligibility for Junior Translator posts requires a Master's degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject, plus a diploma in translation or two years of experience; Senior Hindi Translator asks for similar qualifications with three years of experience.
