The Staff Selection Commission has released the admit card and exam city details for the Paper II examination of the Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Recruitment 2024, which covers 312 posts across various central government ministries and departments. The recruitment includes posts such as Junior Translation Officer in the Central Secretariat Official Language Service, Junior Translation Officer in Armed Forces Headquarters, Junior Hindi Translator or Translator in various ministries, and Senior Hindi Translator or Senior Translator.
Online applications were accepted from 2 August 2024 to 25 August 2024, with a correction window on 4 and 5 September 2024. Paper I was held on 9 December 2024, after the admit card and exam city details were released on 4 December and 30 November 2024 respectively, and its answer key followed on 12 December 2024. Vacancy details, the result and marks for Paper I came out on 10 February, 14 February and 3 March 2025. Paper II exam city details are now out from 19 March 2025, ahead of the Paper II exam on 29 March 2025.
The fee is 100 rupees for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PH and female candidates are exempted. The maximum age for these posts is 18 years for one post and 30 years for the others, and eligibility mostly needs a master's degree in Hindi or English with the other as a compulsory subject, or a recognised diploma or certificate in translation, or relevant work experience. Candidates should download the admit card and confirm the exam city details before appearing for Paper II.
