The Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result for the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Examination 2022, an exam that was conducted against 1207 posts. This came after a long selection cycle that included a computer based test, a skill test and separate answer key and result stages.

Applications for this exam opened on 2 August 2023 and closed on 23 August 2023, with a correction window on 24 and 25 August. The CBT was held on 12 and 13 October 2023, admit cards were issued from 4 October, and the answer key followed on 16 October. The first result came out on 24 November 2023, after which the skill test was conducted on 3 and 4 January 2024, leading to the final result on 8 February 2024. The fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and nil for SC, ST and all female candidates. Age limits ran from a minimum of 18 years up to 27 years for Grade D and 30 years for Grade C. Eligibility required passing the 10+2 exam from a recognised board, along with the prescribed transcription speed and time for English or Hindi shorthand.
