The UPDELEd 2 Year Course admission process for 2026 has moved into its rank card and counselling stage. Registration for the course, which began on 15 June 2026, closed on 3 August 2026 after the date was extended, and the rank card and merit list were released on 10 August 2026.
The counselling schedule includes a choice-filling window from 11 to 13 August 2026, and a first round of counselling running from 10 August to 14 September 2026, with a second round listed from 7 to 10 August 2026. The last date to deposit the fee was 4 August 2026, and the window to reprint the application form closed on 5 August 2026. Training under the course will start once notified. The fee is 700 rupees for General and OBC candidates, 500 rupees for SC and ST candidates, and 200 rupees for PH candidates, payable through e-challan, card, net banking or SBI I-Collect. Candidates need to be between 18 and 35 years of age.
Eligibility for admission requires a bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50 percent marks, relaxed to 45 percent for SC and ST candidates. Candidates going through counselling should keep track of each round and the choice-filling window as per the schedule.
