The Government of Uttar Pradesh has released the seat allotment result for the UP NEET UG admissions online counseling, along with the schedule for the second round of counseling for 2023. This covers candidates seeking admission to medical, dental and related courses in the state through NEET UG.
Registration for this round opened on 16 August 2023 and closed on 18 August 2023 up to 5 PM, with the registration fee due by the same date. The merit list was released on 19 August 2023, followed by choice filling from 21 to 24 August 2023, and the seat allotment result was declared on 25 to 26 August 2023. The registration fee was 2000 rupees for both General/OBC and SC/ST/PH candidates. On top of that, a security fee applies depending on the type of institute, 30,000 rupees for government medical, dental or state university seats, 2,00,000 rupees for private medical college seats, and 1,00,000 rupees for private dental college seats. The minimum age for admission is 17 years, and fee payment is accepted only through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Candidates allotted a seat in this round should check the security fee applicable to their allotted institute type and complete the reporting formalities within the schedule given in the counseling notification.
