The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the PET admit card for its Head Operator recruitment 2024, covering 936 posts of Head Operator and Head Operator Mechanic. This follows the written exam result declared on 8 March 2025. Eligibility is a three-year engineering diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Computer Science, IT or Mechanical.
Applications were accepted from 20 January 2022 to 15 March 2022, with the fee due the same date. The written exam was held on 31 January 2024; its admit card came out on 27 January 2024 and the answer key followed on 24 February 2024, later revised on 28 June 2024. The Physical Efficiency Test is set for 20 to 24 May 2025, with its admit card released on 12 May 2025. The fee is 400 rupees across all categories, and age eligibility runs from 20 to 28 years.
Of the 936 posts, the category-wise split is 379 General, 252 OBC, 195 SC, 92 EWS and 18 ST. Physical standards differ by gender: minimum height is 168 cm for men and 160 cm for women, chest measurement 79 to 85 cm for men and 77 to 82 cm for women, and the running test is 4.8 km in 28 minutes for men against 2.4 km in 16 minutes for women.
