Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has declared the marks and cutoff for the Combined Upper Subordinate Services Preliminary Examination 2021, held for 400 posts spread across administrative and technical positions such as DSP, Superintendent Jail, Excise Inspector, Deputy Jailor, District Judge level posts, District Probation Officer and several others named in the notification. A bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university was the base eligibility, with specific posts carrying their own qualification, height and physical requirements.
Online applications opened on 5 February 2021 and closed on 2 March 2021, with the fee due by the same date. The fee was 125 rupees for General and OBC candidates, 65 rupees for SC and ST, and 25 rupees for PH candidates, payable through SBI Mops or e-challan. Applicants had to be between 21 and 40 years of age, born between 2 July 1981 and 1 July 2000. The preliminary exam was held on 24 October 2021 and its answer key came out three days later. The preliminary result was announced on 1 December 2021, the mains result on 12 July 2022, followed by interviews starting 21 July 2022. The final result was declared on 19 October 2022, with marks for the final round available from 17 November 2022 and preliminary marks from 20 December 2022.
