Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) had invited applications for the Assistant Teacher LT Grade Recruitment 2018, covering 10768 posts, and the process is now at the document verification stage in 2023. The notification was issued on 15 March 2018, with applications open from the same date until 12 April 2018, and a re-open window from 4 to 14 June 2018.
The application fee was 125 rupees for General and OBC candidates, 65 rupees for SC/ST candidates and 25 rupees for PH candidates, paid through debit card, net banking, credit card or E Challan. The written exam was held on 29 July 2018, with the admit card issued on 22 July 2018 and the result announced starting 16 March 2019. Of the 10768 posts, the largest single subject share was Assistant Teacher LT Grade with 5364 posts, followed by Social Science with 464, Computer with 388, Hindi with 369 and English with 338, among other subjects, each requiring a bachelor degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed qualification.
A document verification notice was released on 3 July 2020, and the last date to fill the DV form set has been extended to 24 July 2023, so shortlisted candidates should complete this step within the given time.
