Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited has declared the result for its recruitment to 134 posts covering Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science streams), Assistant Accountant, Chemist Grade II and Lab Assistant. Eligibility ranged from a diploma in relevant engineering branches for Junior Engineer, a B.Com degree for Assistant Accountant, an M.Sc in Chemistry for Chemist, and 10+2 with Chemistry or a related bachelor's degree for Lab Assistant.
Online applications had opened on 27 February 2022 and closed on 21 March 2022, with fee payment allowed till 22 March 2022. The fee was 1180 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, 826 rupees for SC and ST, and 12 rupees for candidates with disabilities. The minimum age was 21 years for the Assistant Accountant and Chemist posts. The exam was conducted over 14 and 15 May 2022, with the admit card issued on 3 May 2022 and the answer key released on 18 May 2022 before the result came out on 18 July 2022.
Across the four post categories, Junior Engineer Mechanical carried 33 vacancies, Junior Engineer Electrical 29, the Electronics and Instrumentation stream 16, and Computer Science 4, while Assistant Accountant had 21, Chemist Grade II 14 and Lab Assistant 17.
