Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of the Combined Defence Services CDS I Examination 2025, conducted for 439 posts across the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force and Officers Training Academy.
Applications had opened on 11 December 2024 and closed on 1 January 2025 till 6 PM, with the fee payment due by the same date and a form modification window kept open from 1 to 7 January 2025. The written exam was held on 13 April 2025, the admit card was released on 3 April 2025, and the result was declared on 28 April 2025. The fee was 200 rupees for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST and female candidates were exempted from paying it. Of the total posts, 100 are for the Indian Military Academy for candidates with a bachelor degree in any stream, 32 for the Indian Naval Academy requiring a bachelor degree in engineering, 32 for the Air Force for candidates with a bachelor degree in any stream having Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or a degree in engineering, and 275 for the Officers Training Academy for candidates with a bachelor degree in any stream.
