The Union Public Service Commission has declared the final result with marks for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2023, conducted for 1261 posts, including 584 vacancies for Medical Officers under the General Duty Medical Officers sub-cadre of the Central Health Service. The exam was open to candidates holding or awaiting an MBBS degree from a recognised university in India.
Applications had opened on 18 April 2023 and closed on 9 May 2023 at 6 PM. The written exam was held on 16 July 2023, admit cards were issued on 26 June 2023, and the first result came out on 29 July 2023. The final result followed on 8 December 2023, and marks were made available on 5 July 2024. The fee was 200 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH candidates and women of all categories were exempted. The upper age limit was 32 years.
